Pastes made with Vinnolit P 70 PS show a moderate pseudoplastic rheology at low shear rates and a moderate dilatant flow behaviour at higher shear rates, which becomes more pronounced at low plasticizer level. This dilatant behaviour can easily be reduced by blending with Extender grades, like Vinnolit C 65 V or C 66 W (see diagram) or by blending with special emulsion grades. Due to its very low emulsifier content the product shows a very low moisture absorption making it ideally suited for outdoor applications. Thin plastisols of Vinnolit P 70 PS in combination with special Emulsion resins show excellent properties for dip coating (Foulard) of e.g. textile substrates.
