ALKAMIX™ MB-6002 can be added to polyethylene during extrusion to reduce the blocking tendency of film. The level may vary according to desired properties, however the recommended addition level is between 1 and 3 percent. The maximum level of addition of ALKAMIX™ MB-6002 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 4 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any antiblock additives. The suitability of finished articles manufactured using this material as a component, and the observance of given limitations, must be verified by the converter for each application to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. In other cases the product can be removed by the use of a cloth.
