Packages made from EA 5S have high resistance to extraction of stabilizers and uniform wall thickness. Softening point higher than 140°C enables use of articles from EA 5S in microwave ovens. Grade FY 5 is designed for extrusion of flat and tubular films, intended for conversion into lighter denier stretched tapes, ranging from 1100 to 1200 dtex. End use products have high tensile properties and very consistent shrinkage after processing. Yarn from stretched tapes is used instead of various vegetable fibers, like jute and coconut fibers.
