This enables, for example, polyamide (nylon) handles or ABS housings to be given a solt touch feel whilst polycarbonate lenses can have gaskets moulded on to provide a weathertight product. The Evoprene COGEE grades are modified Kraton G based compounds. Many of the characteristics exhibited by the Evoprene G and Evoprene Super G ranges are shown by Evoprene COGEE compounds. However, they do have to be processed quite differently to obtain optimum bond strengths and performance characteristics.
