In more detail, it is a low viscous polyvinyl acetal, which is produced by reacting polyvinyl alcohol with butyraldehyde and acetaldehyde. The properties of Pioloform BL 16 are mainly determined by the presence of acetal, hydroxyl and acetate groups.
