Extir does not contain CFC or HCFC. Extir B 2000 AE is used for fast moulding cycle production of shaped mouldings with thin sections. Extir B 2000 AE is used mainly in thin section packaging where, for legislative or safety reasons, the use of a flame retardant material is required. Extir does not contain CFC or HCFC. This grade is characterised by fast moulding cycles, good fusion and low energy needs combined with a high mechanical strength and a good surface finishing. Extir B 3000 AE is used for production of shaped mouldings with section greater than 8 mm or medium-high density blocks. Extir B 3000 AE is used mainly in building and industrial packaging applications where, for legislative or safety reasons, the use of a flame retardant material is required. Extir B 3000 AE is also suitable for the production of skin moulded items. Typical applications are: industrial packaging (e.g. cathode ray tube protection) medium-high density blocks for thermal insulation moulded panels for underfloor heating moulded, insulating drainage panels moulded or block-cut building components
