SP1806 can also be compounded as an impact modifier or used in highly filled applications. Westlake EBAC® resins are less crystalline and softer than polyethylene and offer compatibility and adhesion to typically difficult to bond to polymers. Applications LOTRYL® 17BA07N grade thanks to the production process and the continuous quality control is polymer of choice to produce internal and external fully bonded shields for electrical cables. The process ensures unmatched polymer distribution, good carbon black dispersion, high thermal stability during extrusion and along cables use; then it extends the cable service duration. LOTRYL® 17BA07N withstand the more stringent cross-inking conditions.
