It has a very low crystallization rate and very low thermoplasticity level. Pearlstick® 45-80/16 is adequate for bonding processes that do not require heat activation (cold bonding). APPLICATIONS Pearlstick ® 45-80/16 is used for the production of adhesives for different kinds of materials such as leather, textiles, rubber and a variety of plastics (plasticized PVC, PU elastomers, etc.). Pearlstick ® 45-80/16 allows the production of adhesives with a very long open-time, which can be used without requiring heat activation. The addition of Pearlstick® 45-80/16 to other different typesof Pearlstick® increases their open-times. The addition of a polyfunctional isocyanate to improves the heat-resistance and the strength of the joints.
