Description and Application KETJENFLEX® MH is the most widespread plasticizing resin for nitrocellulose based nail lacquers. KETJENFLEX® MH imparts improved adhesion and wear properties and generally provides the lacquer system with a shiny glossy appearance. KETJENFLEX® MH can also be used as plasticizing resin in solvent borne coating and ink formulations. Here KETJENFLEX® MH acts as non-migratory plasticizing co-resin improving adhesion and gloss of the system. Description and Application KETJENFLEX® 8 is used as a premium plasticizing additive in Plastics, Ink, Adhesive and Coating formulations. Due to its high solvation power KETJENFLEX® 8 effectively plasticizes many resin systems including nitrocellulose, polyamide, PVAC, rosin, epoxy, polyurethane, cellulose acetate and various biopolymers. In addition, systems formulated with KETJENFLEX® 8 show improved resistance to oils, solvents and moisture. KETJENFLEX® 8 has good UV and thermal stability. In Coatings, Inks and Adhesives it additionally acts as adhesion promoter.
