Basell, The Netherlands. Koylene ADL AS160NS is a homopolymer grade especially formulated to produce extrusion products and speciality compounds. As compared to the regular grade Koylene AS160N, this grade is richer in additive contents for high temperature processing and possesses excellent thermo-oxidative stability. Extra addition of antioxidants for preparation of compounds may not be needed when this grade is used. Narrow particle size distribution and somewhat higher bulk density than AS160N can offer advantages of throughput. Its unique powder like morphology coupled with relatively easy processing on extrusion and downstream equipment makes it a grade of choice. FOOD CONTACT APPLICATIONS: This grade meets with the requirements of Indian Standard IS: 10910 on "Specifications for Polypropylene and its copolymers for its safe use in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and drinking water".
